Refund & Returns Policy

At Urban Stealth, we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. This policy explains your rights to cancel, how returns work, and what happens if an item is faulty. Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected by this policy.

Your Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)

If you buy from us online, you usually have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

This is known as the “cooling-off period” under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

You must:

  • Tell us within 14 days of receiving your order that you want to cancel.
  • Return the goods within 14 days of notifying us that you want to cancel.
  • Ensure items are in resalable condition with original packaging and tags intact.

Important:

  • You may inspect the item as you would in a shop, but we may reduce the refund if the item has been used more than necessary.
  • If you do not return the item, we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of the goods.

How to Request a Return

To request a return, email us at hello@urbanstealth.co.uk with:

  • Your order number
  • Your full name
  • The item(s) you want to return
  • The reason for return (if applicable)

We will then provide you with return instructions.

Packaging:

  • Pack items securely in their original packaging where possible.
  • Include all accessories, tags, and documentation.
  • We recommend using tracked postage to prove you sent the item.

Return postage costs:

  • For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return postage costs unless we state otherwise.
  • For faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, we will cover return costs.

Refunds

When refunds are processed:

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process any refund due within 14 days.
  • You will be refunded the full amount paid for the item, including standard delivery costs (if applicable).

Refund method:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • If you paid using a debit/credit card, the refund may take 3–5 business days to appear in your account.

Delivery cost refunds:

  • If you paid for a premium delivery option (e.g., next-day delivery), we only refund the standard delivery cost unless the item is faulty or not as described.

Faulty, Damaged, or Not as Described

You are entitled to a remedy if goods are:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged during delivery
  • Not as described
  • Not fit for purpose

What to do:

  • Contact us as soon as possible at hello@urbanstealth.co.uk.
  • Provide your order number and photos of the issue if relevant.
  • We will work with you to provide a suitable remedy (refund, repair, or replacement).

Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • If goods are returned within 6 months of purchase, we may have to repair or replace them unless we can show they were not faulty when sold.
  • After 6 months, you may need to prove the item was faulty when you received it.

Non-Returnable Items

The right to cancel does not usually apply to certain items, including:

  • Personalised or custom-made items
  • Perishable items (e.g., food, consumables)
  • Sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once opened (e.g., certain camping gear, water filters, clothing with hygiene seals)
  • Digital content that has been downloaded or accessed

If any of these apply to your order, we will inform you before purchase.

Damaged During Delivery

If your item arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
  • Provide photos of the damaged item and packaging.
  • We will arrange a replacement or refund.
